I agree with others: Spring is the most thrilling; Summer the most fulfilling; Winter the most relaxing, but FALL is hands-down my favorite. I love the light, the crisp, dry air, the sense of abundance as flowers and shrubs and trees show me their last, best colors. And I get to collect seeds for next year!!

When I lived in England it was autumn very narrowly over spring. The colours of the trees, the misty mornings, the berries and fruit. Here in Finland spring is so short that if you get up late you'll miss it! Autumn can be nice, but it also is short. I rather like winter - the snow and the crisp dry air - but the long dark nights are a drawback. Only five hours of daylight at Christmas.

I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

I love fall the most. Seems like it is the best weather (for Texas) and many of the flowers are blooming..esp the salvias! Oh yes, and it rains sometimes Hilarious!

Fall, Fall, Fall!
Besides the shear beauty of it, the "sauna season" is over and it's pleasant enough to get out and prepare for next year.
Fall is the BEST time to install perennials!
And then the garden goes gently to bed with all that promise for next season!
Fall, Fall, Fall!

I do love sprng but if I MUST pick one, it's FALL. After the horrible 115 degree temperatures with the AC blasting and the huge utility bills, fall is a welcome relief to me. I love the colors of the trees (if I take a two hour drive up north: cacti don't change colors not do many of our trees here.

Our fall lasts well into most climates winters. Winter in Phoenix is about 6 weeks long. Summer here is not comfortable and while spring is a new season, fresh for new beginnings, there is something about fall that brings such welcome relief.

Since I have gotten older... Grumbling ... I don't go out much in the winter and summer months except to get in the car, or get out of the car and go in the house.

It is a real toss up between spring and fall for me. I love the first blooms of spring and filling in the beds with new plants. Our spring doesn't last long and before you know it, it is HOT!

I enjoy fall, the changing of the leaves, with hues of gold and red... not just green (live) and brown (dead)! I really enjoy getting the tropical pants ready to go in the greenhouse for the winter.

I guess I like Spring and fall both...but especially April and October. Summer is really bad here, so can't wait for lower temps again! Any month when we get adequate rainfall without really high temps can suddenly become my temporary favorite!
