Ipomoea nil 'Blue Silk Kikyo' surprised me with 2 blooms on my indoors-grown nearly year old plants. I have a population of red worms in the container holding the plants, so maybe it is beneficial having the worms there.

Alas, my morning glory flower garden is finished. It was a fun summer.

A visit from Jack Frost?

It's the end of the season and they're annual plants. Cold nights do a number on Ipomoea nil.

To keep from going crazy in winter I will have to start some mutant Ipomoea nil once our office move is complete.

Sounds like a good plan!

I brought in the Ipomoea sloteri plant to finish the developing seeds and it began blooming again. I like when that happens.
