Million Pollinator Garden Challenge
From what I can tell, there are at least 2 places that I could post a photo and I'm confused about what to do. Here's an example.
I noticed that someone asked for an ID of a salvia. I responded that if it looked like mine then it was a salvia greggii. I included 2 pics of mine for comparison. So - should I have then added 1 or both of my pics to the main database? And is there also a separate database just for salvias/sages that I should add my pictures to? What's a girl to do?

Yes, it's definitely a good idea to also add your photos to the database. We all love lots of photos.

It's nice to post photos in forum discussions, too, of course, but that doesn't add them to the database automatically.

There is one database with all the genus in it including salvias. So find salvia greggii and add your images.
