I do but will have to go back through my email to find the name and email address. I assume they use the same person every year.....

Found it! Her name is Karen Gesa, she's in Boston and her email address is [email protected] or kgesa@lintonengineering

I hope they do well because they have several that I'd be interested in purchasing this year as well. I don't know if I'd want to get any super expensive ones with the amount of time they spend in transit but otherwise....

We will know this spring how their peonies have done here. All were planted in the research bed last fall. Half the ones planted in 2014 bloomed in 2015 - from Adelman's mostly. All moved to the main beds fall 2016

This is Karen Gesa's response to my inquiry.

"Hi Karen,

Yes I organize a group U.S. peony order from the Peony Shop each year. We haven’t priced shipping for the coming year yet, but I expect it to be very similar to last year. We added 10% of the peony value to cover customs fees. Then an additional 4.50 euro/root (about $5/root) for shipping. This covers the shipment from the Peony shop to me, AND the 2nd shipment from me to you. If you’d like in on this, you can order and pay through the Peony Shop website and choose the shipping option "USA Cut Flower Corporation - Collected Shipment by Karen Gesa". I think you’ll be happy with the quality and selection. We have a small flower farm and I’ve been hoarding what I can from Joshua for the last 2 years. Last year Joshua also had a minimum order of 100 euros per person.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Karen Gesa

703-789-6096"

I will place an order with the Peonyshop this year using this route for ordering. Many thanks Liz for the info. I will let everyone knows how it goes with the process.

Oh. Great. I will take a look also. I ordered solo last year and it was really expensive. Or would have been if Joshua had not donated the entire shot the the botanical garden. Really nice fellow

Karen Gesu's response to my inquiry about ordering from the Peonyshop:

"Yes – 100 euro minimum. No payment comes to me – the website should automatically add the shipping/customs in. Peony Shop deals with all the money, and reimburses me for my shipping. It looks like it should all be the same as last year. We typically get the roots the first couple weeks in October – prime planting time. It takes me several days to sort them all and re-send, then of course domestic shipping time – usually 5 days or less. So I’d expect yours mid-October. Here are my detailed instructions:

PEONY SHOP CO-OP ORDER OPEN

1. Register your farm on their website. www.peonyshop.com
2. Shop the available peonies and order with their online order form. There is a minimum order of 100 euros which right now is about $106.
3. You can order as little as 1 peony of any variety - or as many as you want.
4. In your budgeting, everyone will have 4.50 euros (about $4.80) added for each peony. This covers shipping and insurance from Holland to the U.S. AND it covers domestic shipping from me to you. In addition, add 10% of your peony order for customs fees. So if I'm ordering 10 peony for $100 I'd add about $48 for shipping, and an additional $10 for customs.
5. When you check out under shipping there will be an option that says "USA Cut Flower Corporation - Collected Shipment by Karen Gesa". Choose this as your shipping method.
6. Wait for your invoice via email. Then pay 30% to Peony Shop to hold your peonies via PayPal.
7. The remainder will be due over the summer. Peony Shop is collecting all of the payment and reimbursing me for my portion. No payment should come to me.
8. Shipment is expected in October. I'll be picking up the pallets at the airport, bringing them home for sorting and re-shipment which may take a few days.
9. We're avoiding the Phytosanitary fee, and we're splitting the customs and international shipping by buying with the group! All in all some great savings esp for Lemon Chiffon, etc.
10. Plant and Enjoy!

Karen G. is right! Lemon CHiffon is less than $22/root at the Peonyshop. Does anyone wish to order one or two roots? I can combine with mine and send them to you when I receive them. Granted they will be traveling a bit.

The order I placed in 2016 and planted in the fall of 2016 have all sprouted. Several have buds on them so hoping for nice blooms. I would have to say their roots are very healthy and robust. Even some of Adelman's didn't survive from 2014-15 winter but they were great about replacing both of them. The third was iffy for our location so not surprised it didn't make it. They don't carry it any more so got a credit for that one.

I already have a bunch of peonies coming from three vendors this fall, Karen, or I would go in with you. ummmmm. May go just take a peek anyway. Rolling on the floor laughing

All of mine from them are up and doing great, most have buds but it's still fairly early in my season. I'll post blooms as they open. Really glad I ordered from them again after seeing how well they did this spring!

A new 2018 catalog of Peonyshop is on! I am thinking to make an order... Crying I will contact Karen Gesa to see if the procedure is the same this year. Did someone tell this fall that their roots were good?
