Oh, this latest change has really messed up the browsing feature. Here's the first page of "R" roses. It has roses beginning with every other letter conceivable, and some of the roses on this page are listed multiple times on the same page. I had hoped that the alternative names would only come up in search. The index used to look so neat. Maybe I just have an unhealthy fetish for alphabetical order.

Okay, I'm thinking about how this can be fixed, but I don't know how complicated the programming would be.

Can the roses be listed under each of their names (which would preserve the alphabetical order) and have all of the information automatically be copied to each name?

That's how helpmefind.com is set up. The same information and photos are accessible under any of the alternative names.

In that case, there would be no need to have one of the names be the main one.

If that's too much trouble, or would take up too much space, can we have the format we had in Cubits, where the main name of each rose was simply followed by all of the alternative names? That made them easy to find through search and preserved the alphabetical order.

I need to contemplate this matter for a bit.

I've been out working in the yard since early this morning. Just saw that the new feature is installed. Checked my semps and everything seems to be working great.
Haven't check the sedum yet.

I personally LOVE it! Zuzu has been noticing a few problems with the additional names in regards to quotes and commas so this seems to have fixed the issue. I think she will be happy.

Very good. You or Zuzu just let me know if you want this changed in any way. I want to make this right and as good as possible.
