This is the last bud to bloom on Gossip Girl, this is actually a December bloom, but I doubt it is worth starting a new thread because there will probably be very few more blooms this year. I also doubt if the extended period of warm weather like we have had will be repeated for a long time...but I could be wrong.

I have some nice buds still on a few others but surely the warm weather can not continue on forever!

'Freaky Good' actually just put up a new scape.

'Cherry Ice Cream Smile' still has a few buds left on it also.

'Cherry Ice Cream Smile' opened up another bloom today, but I did not get a photo of it this morning because I was busy trying to beat the rain. I did manage to get one truck load of shredded leaves and three truck loads of pine straw before the heavy rains came.

I thought this was the November bloom thread? Confused

We were traveling from November 19th through the 28th, and I am just now starting to get caught up on some garden things (while trying to cope with the seasonal hassle, and getting ready to travel again Rolling my eyes. ). This image is from November 15th; there are still more buds to come on this small clump. So long as it doesn't get rust, I think I may have this cultivar forever (unless I somehow move to some inclement climate): the aptly named * 'Ballerina on Ice'. Lovey dubby

(The foliage plant at the bottom is some pale yellow cultivar or other of Helichrysum petiolare, perhaps 'Lemon Light' or 'Lemon Licorice'? Confused )

* While I don't think we've had frost here yet, our nighttime temps are currently in the high 30s to low 40s, and the blooms are still opening, if maybe slowly, and are still beautiful.
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
