You guys, I got my Rose F Kennedy X Emerald Starburst seeds today!!! Kidfishing and Christel , I want my seedlings to look just like yours!

So, Ken, are we talkin the same fridge where you keep your beer, and the left over tuna casserole? No, probably nothin in that fridge but seeds!

I was looking at my header, and you are right. I don't have nothin up there! I gotta spend some time learnin the ropes around here. Like, what's up with all the thumbs up stuff? What does it mean?

Thumbs up can mean several things, often it shows you have written something others identify with, approval, or appreciate.

I don't think you give yourself a thumb, but yes, just click on the green thumb and it will show to the person who's message you clicked on. Then if you do get thumbs click on the number by the thumb and it will show who gave it to you. I will give you a thumb for your last post, click on the number by the thumb and my name should appear(Seedfork).

@josieskid You can give a post a thumb for any of the reasons already stated, or, if the poster has done something extraordinary, such as an informative, picture-laden post or tutorial, or has posted some information of value to you, you can click on the acorn icon. Be aware though, that while thumbs are simply "likes", and are free, acorns are "NGA currency", in that they're earned, for instance, by posting information, images or corrections to the plant database. Once you have earned acorns, you can bestow them to others, use them to purchase icon badges for your ID header, enter raffles, etc. So, when you click that acorn, you're giving away one from your account. There's a link at the bottom of this page you can follow for more information.

Meanwhile, I potted up my first little sprouts yesterday, and got them under the lights! Also, my Rose F Kennedy x Emerald Starburst seeds are starting to germinate already! In less than a week!
