Thread OP

I bought a succulent this summer. I don't know what it is but I treated it like a jade plant. It was doing great at first (see first ) but then it started losing leaves. I thought maybe it needed a bigger pot but that didn't help (see second image).

What is this succulent and what am I doing wrong? Can you recommend steps to remedy?

Absolutely, the plant is in desperate need of more light. I personally would start with a fresh new plant in better light, but you could cut back the existing stems and force new growth from it in better light. Be careful on watering it too much and the pot is probably too big now. Also, don't overcompensate by putting it in really strong light at first. It would need to slowly adapt.
