I know everyone says it's better to take photos of plants in overcast or shady conditions - but just look at the way the blend of light and shade enhances the beauty of this rose. Really lovely, very successful photo.

Thanks Mika, I had to shoot upwards toward this cluster so angled it with only a bit of sky in the background to avoid washing it out too much.
