Ursula, Those deer must feel safe in your yard. Big Grin They would have to cross 15 mi. of freeways and streets to get to me. The only wild animals we get in town are the smaller ones that have adapted to urban settings...Racoons, opposums, the occasional skunk or fox live in the parks and freeway plantings.. they're not very destructive.

Jim, sorry you couldn't get the Cassia to post. Thumbs down That Agave looks great though!

Jim, I think Dave was playing around with the server? Perhaps you might tell him about your problems!

Carol, that must be it.

Ursula, I did just that. He asked me to send the photos via email so he could try to understand the problem. I did that and await his analysis.

I think Dave has found and fixed the problem. The ATP server was set to receive uploads of up to 8MB. Some of my pictures are running 10MB and thus not uploading correctly. He has reset the parameter to 16MB so we should be set to go. Let's try the cassia photos once again.

Jim, the Casssia is gorgeous!! Lovey dubby

So the large file was the problem. I always shrink my pictures, they are usually not too far from 1/2 mb in size, never exceeding 1000 pixels at the longest side. I just don't feel like tapping my foot while I have to wait for large files to upload.

Oh, Jim, the Cassia is lovely and situated so perfectly, too! I tip my hat to you.

Love the shot with the dark clouds! Gives it that luminous quality that one sees just before dusk.

The cassia is called 'Winter Cassia' or Senna bicapsularis. I like this variety because it blooms in early winter/late fall when not much else is going on. I also think it has the prettiest flower. Some say it is invasive as it puts out lots of seedlings. I have not had that problem.

Senna bicapsularis is a weed in warm climates. It keeps popping up everywhere. I recently got a lot of soil brought in and following the recent rains I see there's a lot of Senna sprouting in it. Suspect it might be Senna obtusifolia though, also a major weed. Looks nice, until you find it's out of control.

Hi Jim and everyone! You are never alone!! Group hug
I just came in from planting some climbing roses on either side of the Arbor. Then I planted winter pansies in the deck railing hayrack planters. It is a beautiful day for outside work.
Have perennials and bulbs still to plant.....what have you been doing?
DBH is out playing golf.

I'm at both, but I post most of my pics on my new forum for people on Google to find. Make new friends but keep the old.... Whistling
I just came back from a local craft tour with my friend from Boston who was visiting. Had a blast. Wearing my new wool sox now. Off to cut more gardens down.

I've been cleaning the house as my garden club will be here on Thursday. I worked hard in the yard yesterday, transplanted some grass, bought and laid new sod and planted some muly grass. Getting ready to go out for dinner now as it is our 27th anniversary. I'm glad to know my friends are still out there. It got down into the upper 40s last night but it is better now. I closed the lanai windows and it was 56 in there when I got up.

You are invited! 10:00 AM sharp. I'm roasting a couple of chickens and the rest are bringing side dishes. The food is generally fantastic. We will do a garden tour, then work in the garden for a couple of hours, then eat and enjoy. Take cuttings if you like. The next morning, I'm meeting Laurel in Apopka for a shopping frenzy. She and Steve will be on their way home from Maimi. I just gassed up my buying shoes. I'm getting about 23 orchids per gallon. I've heard there is a new hybrid shoe coming out that gets 45 orchids per gallon. Is that true, Kathy? I'm wondering if there is enough room in them to bring the orchids home?
