Oh my gosh!! Where to start??!!??

Re-vamping my old garden gnomes. The freshly painted one is Leroy. He will be going to visit my mother-in-law up in Virginia. The other has yet to be started.



Making little Santa ornaments using miniture wooden plant pots and wooden thimbles.



Creating mini baskets of Florida shells, moss and a candle.



Decorating wooden kleenex cover boxes. This one has a front panel that is reversible. It's the same color as the box on the other side.



I'm also working on other ornaments, a couple of trays, a sleigh table centerpiece, and several other projects that I can't recall just now!!

I'm making a bunch of these:



Acorn earrings with acorn caps from my oak tree and wool nuts.

I've got a lot of projects lined up.

Wow you two have been busy, I love anything Christmasy or wintery looking. I actually hate winter and any temp below 60. but love the crafts for the season.

So much fun! I'm rushing through this morning but will be back soon.

Saw this pop up on the recent threads list. Ummmm ... my current projects are for Christmas exchanges so I guess I can't show them.

Then there is the stack of components for a vignette of three totems/stacks sitting here in the family room. That will be the next thing and I refuse to do any other projects until these are finished and cleaned up ... nothing, nada, zero, zilch, zippo, that's it, period. Fini caput.






Well, I have been working on a yard art project outside. Got a trellis on clearance at Lowe's for $11.
Making a small bed area around it for a couple of roses. The tiles are the old ones that were torn out during our recent half-bath remodel.

Tee!! How pretty.
But today the rains they are a comin'.

Yah, that second trellis picture was taken in today's rain. And no sooner had I finished putting down river rock and tile and so forth when kitty #3 came tearing through the scene and took out the newly planted little Ingrid Bergman rose ... broke it at the ground. I don't know if it's broken at the graft ... I'll just have to wait and see.

Some days are like that.

Sun's breaking through now.

I love looking at everyone's projects. Gives me ideas on other things I can do. Although, I just finished telling my brother that I had TOO many projects going on, I had to quit starting more. Then I came across a gorgeous box that will really match the kleenex box cover that I am currently doing........... Yeah, too many projects going on!!!

I don't have a cat or a rose bush but, yep...some days ARE like that!

Here's another project that I am working on. This is a great little wooden sleigh, about a foot long. I have the body painted white and the runners painted black. Now I am stumped. I want to dress it up a bit but my brain just can't wrap itself around this one. I was thinking about gluing Christmas ribbon around the top edge, or maybe finding something else to put around the top edge. I have some Christmas stickers (since I don't have a steady enough hand to write nicely) that says Happy Holidays that I will be putting on the sides. The middle will be filled with some holiday grass stuff with some candy. Give me some ideas to help dress this baby up!!

My new-to-me lap top will arrive next week ! I am so happy. Then I can show and share fun winter projects with you that I have made before the crash of the PC.

Right now I'm making Baby Boo's which are modeled after a doll I had as a little girl. In addition, I also made some versions that are for infants and then about age 1. I love fabric and am having fun. Sewing helps me loose weight because I can't nibble.
