I'm fast becoming a fan of patterned daylilies where there are color breaks in the eye that form additional whitish patterns. I'm a stickler for consistency in patterns like this. Most have variation, sometimes a lot of variation, where sometimes the pattern disappears completely. Often growers and hybridizers won't tell about or show photos of this. They put forth the most dramatic pattern, letting the buyer beware.
All of this is to say that 'Timeless Beauty,' according to Jamie Gossard, has a stable pattern and grows well in both the North and the South. Since this is a very recent release, the jury is still out on this claim. But since this purchase didn't come out of my pocket, I was willing to take a chance.
