Greetings!

Can anyone help me identify this clematis? I inherited it a few years ago when I bought a cottage in Maine. I've never grown a clematis before but fortunately I've had pretty good success with this one. I cut it back in the Spring which it seemed to like as it spread along the fence a good 6'.

I always thought 'Nelly Moser' was lighter, but this picture looks very similar to yours.

I moved it to the Clematis Forum to see if anyone can help with an ID, it doesn't look like Nelly Moser to me.

It reminds me of Clematis Anna-Louise™ a popular one in the nurseries.

@Calif_Sue - looks like Anna Louise to me as well.
