Right before it got really cold, I snapped these leaves off of mama plants but forgot to bring them inside. Figured they were goners but noticed last weekend that although the mama leaves look much more haggard than they would have if not exposed to the cold, the baby plantlets & their roots look and feel fine. Graptosedum, unexpectedly hardy.
These leaves have laid on windowsill inside greenhouse for the past 3 months. They were still connected to the mama leaves until I tried to arrange them into more photogenic positions. Kalanchoe rosei.
Instead of tending baby plants over winter, I've done nothing but completely forget about them, and assume they were dead.
