If you haven't tried one, you should get one, Marilyn. Once you get the proper care going, they are easy and bloom a lot! In the beginning I treated mine like a cactus, and they are not happy like that. While actively growing they love water and humidity.

They can be outside in containers, but I take mine in when the overnight temps reach 50. Mine bloom pretty much Spring through Fall if I leave them alone and don't keep pruning them down to try to shape them. This year I'll leave them to grow. Last year I was attempting to bonsai one and make another one mushroom shaped.
