Yes, it is winter here in Saskatchewan and this Jack Rabbit/hare is proof of it with its white coat. My dog and I see this guy every day on our walks here in the city - same place every time - I did see it blink when I took the photo though. They are large and they have moved into the city in the last few years. Not too destructive as there is a lot for them to eat I guess.

Hope it finds enough food. We scatter birdseed on the ground (for the birds) and the Eastern Cottontails join in, which is ok with us. We've been putting out birdseed (feeders and ground) every day, since Dec. 2000.
