Garden Tours: Valleylynn, Lynn Smith

By Sharon
November 12, 2011

Let's take a trip this week to Oregon and visit the lovely gardens created by Lynn Smith and her husband, Cliff. It's always fun to step out of our own climate to see what grows well in another, and sometimes it's even more fun to see what our climates have in common. You are going to love what you see!

I thought it might be easier... and safer to just remove it. Guess it would have left people wondering what I deleted, tho. Besides, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to try your suggestion! Cool

Sure am glad Nikki was saved from the nutsy, vicious dog!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Jo Ann what is your growing zone? They are hardy down to -20°F. They should do well for you. They love to be planted under the canopy of evergreen trees and shrubs.
They reseed readily here.

DH is great for finding solutions to my gardening problems. The gate was one of them. : )

Becky, the wonderful part of gardening is each area has things that will grow well, but maybe not in another area. That is why all of our gardens have different kinds of plants. There are many things I can't grow because of our long rainy season and shorter summers with cool nights.
