I would like to suggest we find some way of rewarding those amazing people who ID our NOID's for us in the plant ID forum. They do a great & amazing job & I for one am very thankful!
Could we maybe add them to the list of how to get acorns? Such as they would get awarded an acorn for each or every so many ID's they are responsible for or largely responsible for?
Or give them a special microbadge which changes depending upon the # of ID's like the lightbulb for the tips does?
After all, these people are making a great contribution to the database as without ID's a lot fewer plants would be making their way into the database.

Speak up with your suggestions on the subject.

I agree. I am grateful for those who help ID plants. I often know what a plant is but not the cultivar and their input guides my thoughts.

I looked on the "how to get acorns" list & it doesn't list ID ing plants as a way to earn acorns.

Well silly me. I just realized I could send some of my acorns to the people that identify plants for me. Duh. Rolling my eyes.
