This is gorgeous. I am really into re-purposing. I turned a double kitchen sink into a waterfall weir on a M.A.S.H. pond out in New Mexico one time. I don't have pics anymore. Is this a pot, or an old sink? (I have a single sink on my lot that used to be the grandkids handwash sink....)

I set up a Succulent Fairy Garden of sorts in May 2019., mainly to amuse the younger grandchildren at the time.
Yesterday I was able to move it outside and "restart" most plants. Some plants turned into thugs and took over, choking out others.

Thanks Alice! It definitely was not a pot. I was looking for a tub of sorts and actually found this one in our basement, then holding all sorts of garden tools and small pots. I thought it screamed Fairy garden.

It definitely screamed fairy garden. I have an old scalloped marble sink on the lot doing some hollering too

3/5, made a mental note that it was time to trim just about everything in this, way overgrown, stick some of the best pieces back in.


The "after," finished the plants last weekend. Need to redo the scene & décor now.

That garden is about a foot wide, about 2.5 feet long. My DH built it.

This pic is from 2017, before I built a brick wall (loose, no mortar) around the west side of it. That area has changed a lot since then.

Lovely! The dimensions are a good size to fit a lot of miniature landscape. I need to make bigger mini gardens. Thanks for the inspiration!

if I did a fish tank here the sun would be amplified and I'd kill everything. I do have a sink in the garden but I encouraged daughter to put a mini garden in it, and I think she has decided to give it to her dad for an outdoor handwash station. (he lives with her......) I'm still figuring out if I'm moving. If the house sells this summer, a heavy mini garden would be at great risk of damage while I can pack pots in trays and those plastic bins with lids for protection. Except my giant plants.... it's a wild morning here.

Alice, they can get heavy! My bigger one takes 2 people (stronger people than me) to move. It has been moved once when we moved to this house 10 years ago. Good luck with your house situation!
