oh well, I'll just keep it as 'old garden variety' ...

Now this one was labeled 'Susan', but it can't be. I am thinking it is Lady Jane. Any thoughts?
It is huge, with 2 scapes each 4 buds

Its most likely Lady Jane, which is fairly popular.

thanks, I just checked, I must have switched the tags, there is one tagged as Lady Jane. I'll see when she flowers if it is Susan Smiling

I bought this one at HD Can some one ID it for me? It is a Hadeco bulb. It is not quite as dark as the pic. It was labeled Double Six but I don't think that is right.

Rene: I know that's not Double 6. It's hard to tell the true color from the photo. If it is a blood red, it might be Cocktail. But if that is more of a dark raspberry pink, I'm stumped. There's another possibility. If the bulb was mislabelled, how do you know that it is even a Hadeco cultivar? The supplier could have put anything into the package. Normally you can go to the Hadeco site, which has good photos of all the cultivars. However the "products" section is shut down during the spring, so you may not be able to see the photos until the summer. go to www.hadeco.info/cultivars l

The Color is much lighter than the pic, a deep pink. All of them were labeled Hadeco bulbs, fhey were potted don;t know if they came in that way, They are buried about 4;; deep. will dig it out as soon as it is thru blooming!

Lovely blooms everyone. Thank you for sharing.

Hetty, your double red could be Red Peacock.
