OK, Red Peacock or Double Dragon, I love them either way!

Just been comparing pictures on google and I lean more towards Double Dragon.

I just learned that this is not Bordeaux rascal, which should be all red. This is actually Balentino, which I bought last year. So RC sent me a mislabeled bulb, a first for them. I will contact them for a refund.

Why I said your double red could be Red Peacock it's because of the white stripes on the petals. I have grown it before.

with the nice weather we are having i cant believe i dont have more in bloom maybe i need to water them more god old mother nature isn't giving them much to drink!!

I finally heard back from RC. They claim the supplier mixed up the bulbs. The Bordeaux Rascal was actually Balentino. So if I had ordered Balentino, would I have gotten Bordeaux Rascal? I thought that I would make it all the way through the winter with no mislabeled bulbs. But my luck finally ran out at the very end. Luckily I like Balentino.

For years, I have depended on other people to ID my hippies because they are never what they say or they have no labels when I buy them in bloom. I'm always shocked when they are what they say!
