Grandchildren are my greatest joy.

There was a faithful member of the Utah Iris Society who did a little hybridizing and his dream iris was a black TB with a red beard. This is a nice approach.....and a great photo.

Thanks Paul, but of course the real magic was done by Tom Burseen. Since the blooms are so large and sturdy they make an amazing clump.
