I brought this plant from my old garden. I love the height it adds to the garden and the variegated foliage. But knowing that the straight species has a bad reputation as soon as the flowers are opened I cut them off. It has never moved from the spot I planted in. Yes, this should be moved to Fallopia japonica.

Is that an entry for a named cultivar or any variegated form? With the apostrophes, it looks like it is reserved for plants with that specific cultivar name.
