Thanks so much for the thumbs and acorns. Like most of the Carolinas, wisteria grows wild in my neighborhood. I just love the soft colors of the blooms and look forward to it's bloom season. It can be really invasive but is just so lovely. The Sarah P. Duke gardens used to have a cupola made of wisteria, and the University of North Carolina campus has a walkway covered in wisteria vines, so I would say that it has captured the hearts of my area of the south. It captured mine when I moved here!

I grew up on Long Island, NY. My Dad grew wisteria along the cyclone fence. I fell in love with them. I was sad when he cut them back at the end of the season. I hope to have them some day here at my home.
Its easy for me to believe in miracles when science can't explain why a blade of grass has its shape and that is just one plant and one attribute.

@Lestv@plantmanager it is faux stained glass on plexiglass. The design and paint are made by Plaid. I am planning my next one. Didn't mean to steal your thunder Leslie. Sometimes I forget other members can see my posts.

Thanks for the info on your painting, Lioba. You should post photos of it over at the Garden Art forum. The garden art people are enthusiastic about all garden art. They would love it, and I will be interested to see what you do next. https://garden.org/forums/view...
