Bob, we'd all rather have snow than ice, but Mother Nature doesn't exactly give us a choice.

It's still like a skating rink out there. Literally. You could ice skate in our driveway. But it's supposed to be 50° today, strong thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow. So go figure. We've had a little of everything this winter.

Jo Ann last year was brutal , we could use a break but the 2 worst months are still to come.

Karen I hope these weird temps are not hurting the plants to much one week with temps in single digits then in the 40's the next then back to freezing.

Not just the weather.Mid Feb is when I get anxious and impatient to see whats comming up.We had snow cover from Nov to early March last year.I cant remember when I was so bored, just white everywhere I looked.

Our high is actually supposed to be 50 today. But I'm more concerned about all the rain we've had this year than the swings in temp. 73" of rain in 2010, while our norm is around 41". And so far January has been wet, too. Tonight? severe thunderstorms.
