This is my 'Gramma Bee'

Pretty, Pretty! I'm partial to that color blend--most of you already know that. I think this flower has an 'Old Fashion' appearance about it and one that would compliment deeper, more bold colors of red. Wouldn't this look great in a mixed garden setting! Especially in a mixed cottage garden setting. The name 'Gramma Bee' seems to define this flower perfectly. How nice, Tracey!

Awww, thanks. We all have the different things we find attractive in lilies, colors, spots etc. What makes one person's ultimate flower may be something another finds ugly. My problem has always been loving too many of them.

Extremes

I like the light outline on the petals on your second one Anthony.

The first is distinctive in many ways:
--- the seemingly overall ball shape
--- there are ovaries (where seeds would develop), but no pistil
--- the very, very long and narrow nectaries, and no flare at the ends

I harvested 6 bulbs from a cross on this with a Red/Black UK purchased 1b seedling [QB man] , Lorn ,you would remember that one. Along with much encouragement that you all gave me over the last few years, I hope to be harvesting bulbs of many, that you coaxed me to pollinate
