I agree, it looks like a mix up, a nice one at that. Now I regret passing up Hudson's Asiatic mix several times over. This year they have offered only L. nepalense and L. regale.

In the mix , but definitely not an Asiatic ... beautiful 'low key ' evening smell , very strong lily.. very impressive ...many more to come

I'm starting to draw the conclusion that a prolonged cool period leading up to blooming enhances petaloid development (my theory by association).
