The only thing I can think is they might be getting too much water. But daffs are doing OK in the same area.

You and me too. I have never grown them.I worked on the combos with Iris and other perennials for weeks. I hope I'm not disapointed.The anticipation will get me thru the worst of the winter Jan - March.

Thank heavens I don't have problems with lilies. Both daffs and hyacinths are fine. Tulips short lived, but that's normal. I don't do well with garlic either.

I'll hang around with you guys and hopefully your allium expertise will rub off on me.

I had Atropurpureum go to seed and scatter the summer before last - now I have about 30 plants. I'll have to dead-head, this year!

Hmmmffff!!!! Well, the easiest plant to grow would be the one I have troubles with.

I was amazed at how versital they are. Look great with so many other perennials and grasses.
