I don't understand how to set up a Custom Home Page. There's a link that takes me to a web page, but then I don't understand how to link anything to that page.
Click on the little blue "house" icon at the top left of this page and it will take you to your home page. Scroll all the way to the bottom of your home page and click on the blue area that says Customize your home page; drag items from the left side column into the boxes on the right in whatever order you want. Don't forget to click on View Your Finished Dashboard when you are done. You can change and rearrange things to your liking any time you want. I played with mine off and on for days to get it the way I wanted.
