Glad I'm not the only one that goes totally blank or loses a tag

Love Catananche.

Between neighborhood dogs off leashes, curious toddlers and hungry deer I've lost many a tag. I have a number of irises and I've taken to planting distinctive color patterns so that I can identify them. It doesn't always work, as I've forgotten the names of my earliest additions or those that have been gifted to me, but now I have a few named irises.

Some of antique-ing attempts:

Shot handheld. Shaky photographer (and some wind). Main point was to post one of each shot...and work on composition with the parameter of "crop to square". No good reason to do that apart from making it an exercise. Shame on the focus on some, but I included them to be inclusive and work the composition. Here's a feast to the otherwise famine of this thread:
