Blue blooms of Jacquemontia

This Jacquemontia vine is in profuse bloom much to my delight and the banner shows not even 1% of them on one vine itself. I have four to feast my eyes. This has passed over the compound wall and makes a lovely view. The cattle prune them and keep a shape - like women' pony tails that are trimmed by the hair stylist! I'm really enjoying this and wanted to share a 'part' of my enjoyment through this banner. It's a favourite vine for the hundreds of bees as well.

Skyblue Cluster Vine (Jacquemontia pentantha)

Really lovely, Dinu, and a fine commentary, too. Your work (play?) with the camera is regularly a treat to see. I tip my hat to you.

@nativeplantlover... yes it is... a blessing... and also for some gardening space... as ours is an ancestral century old house.
@plantmanager... here is the photo of the vine [2015] that had spread over - I had allowed it - the scooter shed roof! I really enjoyed this ... also being a blue-lover! The vine got infested with mealys in 2016 and I had to see it dry and die. A couple of weeks ago, I found this again in a plant nursery and I bought two. Once again, I have planted it in the same spot and another one for the arch at my pond which is on the other side of that scooter shed. So I hope to see this grow with vigour in a few months. Rains have been deficient here this year as well.. and this is also one reason for the infestation.

Thanks to everyone for the appreciation and even acorns! I'm glad you all liked this banner.

Wow! So wonderful to live in your family's home, enjoying the view from your window. Does this have a fragrance? What are the vehicles in the upper right corner of the photo Dinu? I love the clay tiles. I often imagine what life is like for people in other parts of the world....So much of Indian culture is simply beautiful! Sorry for so many questions- Thanks for your ear!

Hi Cheryl.
I took that photo from the room above the ground floor [means ground level here]. There is a tea vendor on his cart doing his business at that street corner. The black one is what we call 'autorickshaw', a 3-wheeler taxi, seating 3 + driver. Very common here. The driver must have stopped by to have a tea. The roof tiles are as old as the house. Our big house went about a family partition [2 parts] and I saved all the tiles and used them this way. I made such sheds/shelters in 4 places. That strong quality tiles... we don't get to even see these days.
