Invest in the best pair of gloves you can afford. Good gloves will outlast many pairs of cheap ones.

FYI... still using my Atlas gloves I purchased in 2011 -- put them in the washer too at the end of last season -- still work great!

I wash mine all the time, but I hang them to dry.
They dry pretty fast.

Same here, wash and hang dry. I made the mistake of putting a pair in the dryer, when they cooled they became almost crispy.

For my new volunteer position working with cactus and succulents at the local Botanical Gardens, I'm going to get some of the Kevlar gloves. I can't take all the glochids!
