I like the happy green growing things and lots of light in my bedroom.

One year I was able to expand the trays and pots onto a desk by a sunny window and went hog-wild.

I agree Thumbs up

I especially loved the surprise blooms....

...peering in and around the big-flowered lilies, roses and iris for those sweet little starts with oftentimes dainty, but always perfect in their own way, flowers of almost any conceivable shape, size and color. Trying new varieties every year keeps the gardens interesting; there's never a dull moment.

The seedlings in the photo posted above (and started last spring) bloomed by late summer.

Nothing all that special about the bloom form (or the quality of this photo, for that matter Hilarious! ), but it did bloom..... Big Grin

Big Grin Thanks, Barb.

This was my first delphinium from seed, and you know how those "firsts" feel.......pretty darn magical! Smiling I'm also humbly respectful that those few seeds did feel like sprouting and growing! Sometimes they have other ideas, right? Rolling on the floor laughing

Even now, with snow and ice and freezing rain everywhere (at least today Rolling my eyes. , and perhaps into tomorrow as well), I have to pause every time I walk past those little plants and have a peek at them if they're showing. Smiling

I've just got fingers crossed hoping that the one I moved from a big nursery pot into a raised bed survives...you'd think if it survived 2 winters in a pot, it would be perfectly happy in a nice big raised bed, right? Confused
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
