an actual answer to her question. Any image on a web page is going to have a "web address". That's all you need to post
a link to an image, for instance in a forum post, which should in most cases cause the image to appear in the post.
The forum software doesn't seem to make it dirt simple to get that image address, but at least in my browser (Firefox) any time
the mouse pointer is hovered over an image thumbnail, the image address appears in a little box at the lower left corner of the page.
Right-clicking on the thumbnail will produce a context menu. and the item "copy link location" on the menu will put the image
link in your clipboard. Oddly enough, clicking the "copy image location" from the same menu will get the thumbnail address,
and not that of the original image.
Right-clicking on one of the image thumbnails will open the full image in a display overlay, and the image address will appear
in the browser's address bar. The address can of course be easily copied from there, and thence pasted elsewhere.
