Its the support I get from orchid growers here that keeps me feeling responsable for this plant. It used to reside in my livingroom in this shared house. I might relocate it today.

I took some pictures yesterday, it's a mix of old and new:
Barkeria melanocaulon flowers for months, the spike starts branching out and just keeps going and going. I grow it bare root, full sun and water daily.

This little "shrubbery" blooms on and off somewhat year around, but mostly in Winter for me.

Ionocidium Popcorn ( picked up at last Summer's Orchid Show at Silva's) has been blooming for many weeks now, I never got a decent clear picture of the blooms. Better post one now, it is almost done flowering....

I love the Dendrobium Love Memory 'Fizz'. I am still delighted to get a re-bloom on this one.
Thumb of 2012-01-29/Ursula/50b9c1

And I think I give up on Dendrobium kingianum. I simply don't have the conditions to bloom them well. Here is my Den. kingianum var silcockii picked up last year, it has a few nicely scented blooms, but grown properly it should now be covered with flowers.

One more piccie of the Epic Rene Marques 'Flame Thrower'.
Jim, they do get to be tall plants, yours should do very well in your gorgeous habitat/OC.

ge, pretty Cym!

Ursula, I love them all! As usual, my 'Ursula' is about a month behind yours. It has 4 spikes, but the tallest are only about 7". Worth waiting for though.

kathy, very much so! Mine has a bit more red on the lip. I'll see if I can find any more info on it. It would be nice to have a name for it after all these years.

Thanks for posting your Epic Rene Marques, Ursula. The flowers on the mother plant where I bought mine looked very much like yours and it was indeed tall and erect. The differences between your 'Flame Thrower' and my 'Tyler' must be minimal. It looks like you are awash in blooms while things are quiet here. I very much like Potinara Fairyland. Great yellow floof.

Jim

kathy, I checked it out SBOE. It looks the same as mine. They list it as ultra-mini, but don't give a definitive size. Mine has 2" flowers with 24" leaves, so that may be it.
