Chelle, maybe add links to these in a thread on the Iris Forum, there may be someone there who would recognize them. I can tell you, ID's are very hard unless there is something very distinct about them.

Yeah, that's what I thought, but I had to try. That's why I tried to do several at once....just hoping an iris whiz would come along and catch all three at once!

We can't get positive IDs for our DB through pics alone....so, I'm closing this thread.

If you would like a named iris to compare it to, you might take a look at 'Wench'.

Hmmm. I'd bet that's it. The year it was introduced would have been within a year of its planting here. I'd be really interested in seeing an unopened bud (other than my own ), mine appear to be dark blue....

....ah! Just checked our DB. Betja has a photo of buds that look the same as mine.
