High 80s again today with 45% humidity. Ugh.

It got up to 77F yesterday. They are calling for a high of 86F. The nice days are over for at least a week.

Currently it's 60, but it feels like it's 59.7 seriously, can anyone feel the difference between 60 and 59.7? High today is 86.

Overcast today, cool 47f and we had a shower overnight and this morning, thankful for the moisture even if it means staying inside.

Really hot here today, 87 for a high after a low of 58 this morning. They had a high of 91 in Burlington which broke the record for the date. Record highs for the next 3 days will most likely be passed as well. It's absolutely crazy to have temps like this at the end of Sept.
Chance of showers Thursday when the front comes through and cools things down. we get some rain, everything is very dry.

It go up to 86F yesteday. It was already 65F at 6:15AM. They are calling for a high of 90F today. I don't know how much of a conversion factor I have to add at this time of year. They are calling for 97F on Saturday.

Saturday it rained off and on all day bringing us .28 inches total. Every little bit helps! Yesterday was the high road studio tour and the weather was perfect, cloudless skies and high temperatures around 70.

Last night it reminded us that the solstice was past and fall is here with a low of 37!

Calm and clear this morning, we can make out details on the slopes of the Jemez Mountains over fifty miles away.

Maybe some rain later this week, maybe not.

We got our culvert pushed under our road connecting us to the Acequia system so that in the future we can avail ourselves of the snowmelt next spring to water our garden.

Very hot with temperatures in the upper 80's f., sunny and still no rain. It is supposed to cool down on Wednesday, then back to normal temperatures (in the 60's f.) at the end of the week, with a chance of showers. I am looking forward to getting back to normal autumn weather.

It was in the low 50's F this morning. Sleeping weather was great !!! Really enjoyed the work in the yard this morning. Perhaps fall is knocking on our door!

It has been mostly overcast here today, light shower overnight, calm, high of 59, not bad, I'll take it.

Hot today, hot yesterday...jet stream is keeping us hot in the Mid-Atlantic. We're a high of 86 F today with a high humidity and a dew point of 70! So, even gardening in the shade gets hot. Oh, but that hasn't stopped the mosquitoes here one bit (or should I say "bite" ). I was all decked out (covered up) and had my bug jacket on and I still have 6 new bites in two days. We're supposed to cool down into the 70s next weekend.

I'm looking forward to getting back to our normal fall weather the end of the week too! This heat wave is terrible. Low of 63 this morning...high was 89 at 2:30 this afternoon. The high today broke a 126 year old record in Burlington, sorry I went out to check the chickens water and didn't catch what their high was. Another record was that this is the latest heat wave ...ever. ( I will never take the ac out of the bedroom window again until it is below freezing and we have a foot of snow on the ground )

Linda. It really makes a difference to have cool weather when working outside. I'm still plugging away at getting things done here, it has not been fun the past three days....yesterday I quit at noon, today 11. Tomorrow I'm gone again so have a good excuse for not getting anything done outside.

Love your pumpkin posted on the Porch Swing Charley. Those are the coolest looking pumpkins! Now I'll have to see if anyone has them out here....

Char I think our high today was 87 F. You beat us !!!

Another shower just went through. We are getting some much needed rain. I didn't go much outside today. Harvested about 3 gals. of tomatoes, a few cucumbers, a few bell peppers, a few acorn, butternut, and zucchini squash, and some decorative gourds and pumpkins to take to DH's brother and SIL in WI tomorrow when we go for a visit. Also picked cherry tomatoes and roma tomatoes to give away at our Eagle's Club. DH got the front lawn mowed early afternoon before the rain.
