Had I known I wouldn't get my order until July, I would have placed an order with another vendor who could provide spring shipping. The poor plants sat in full sun in my black mailbox in 85 degree temps for hours (I wasn't informed they were shipped). They were very yellow and crispy. Disappointing.

Not planning to order anything this fall but I won't promise anything. ;) Park Lane has several daylilies that I'm looking for... I've haven't ordered from them before.

I would love to have Get R Done but it's a hard dormant and would not survive in my hot humid weather.

Since I am just getting back into getting more daylilies I am having a terrible time trying to decide. I have very limited space and there are so many great places to order from I just keep looking and waiting while I try to decide. My favorites are spiders & doubles, oh I also love fragrant ones and bud count. He,he I just guess I love them all.

Just try to find as many garden pictures of the plants you can find, I always find that helps weed some out.

I agree with Pam except if you see published pictures of ones you like look in the database here to see how it blooms in other peoples gardens. I found out the hard way that a lot of the published pictures are enhanced Best to find out from others in your zone what kind work best, dormant, evergreen or semi-evergreen. I have all 3 in my zone5b but some evergreens are touchy and don't do well here. Good luck

Oh my, it's fall ordering time again... And Floyd Cove just posted about 15 of their new Spring 2019 introductions that they are taking orders on and shipping in Sept-Oct for those who want them early. So of course I had to order right away, since I can receive them in Sept. and get some good growth on them before winter. Here's what I've ordered:

And now I've bid on a few crosses from James (JWWC), and I'm hoping I can curtail my need for seeds after this current batch (since I have probably thousands of my own in my fridge). But they're just not from these new incredible daylilies...
