Hi Anthony: What's the name of this one? Aside the high bud count, I notice the strong stem reinforcement at the point of pedicel attachment--Very interesting!

A seedling trumpet, with just a number-came from a mixed batch[more than likely with '[greisbach background]-but as you say, good example,.,.quality of stems was very high this year,..,but i'll get them next year Hilarious!

Anthony-not sure of the background you suggest. I think this seedling is worth going one step further with cross pollination even without known parentage.

Lorn, if you are looking at the vertical ribs on the stem, with each seeming to end at a pedicel, that's a bit of fasciation going on.

Sometimes you can get a build up of malware and spyware using up you bandwidth connection that slows down things to the point of not working properly. Of course, I am sure you have an always running anti-virus program like Norton, Avast, AVG, Trend Micro, etc.), but have you done a manual sweep lately? How about with your anti-malware program?

Leftwood, that was my first thought too. But then I took another look and had second thoughts pondering it since everything else seemed so normal--its probably just a case of accidental near over culture and a bit of fasciation; I agree.

Nice job Anthony, nice job!

I thought the arrangement with the two little green bunnies, carrots and rabbit trap was really well done. Looked at all the stills too. Really nice show! I got to the web site by going to: www.tasblooms.com then clicked 'gallery' Hurray! on the left, then scrolled down the yearly menu to 2012.

The Children's and Blokes (Men) Only Sections are my favorite.

The spider, the ant, the onion motor vehicle, the parsnip race car, helicopter with floats, airplane, and remember folding old Reader's digests and spray painting them to look like Christmas trees? The variation on that sure brought back memories... although I never could grow godetia well.

this is the video for the Children's and Men's section
http://www.youtube.com/watch?f...

BTW, the obsession with "May" in the Men's only section made it extra jovial. Were you all trying for kudo points with the judge?

Thanks for great comments!! I tip my hat to you. THe judge,Rick, was May Backhouse, so you hit the nail''right on the head'',.,.,.Did you pay particular attention, that i was disqualified, didnt place, but still was a champion in it because my exhibit was childish,.,..,[all in good fun],..,What amazed me, was 'Bluey' Zanellas rabbit exhibit.,.Bluey is about 85 years old[Former best concrete finisher in the world] and moves at the speed of a 3legged sloth[not 3 toed], even slower[,..,He turned up the best exhibit, where everyone was trying to steal his rabbits....a very [big ]hearted man Thumbs up
