Ah fall! Too bad such beauty has to eventually be raked up!

I really miss the Maple leaves in Michigan. But it's the only thing I miss about Michigan! Thanks for giving me my fix Smiling

Wish I could help you out but the photos I took were all leaves on the ground. The old stand trees in my neighborhood are very tall so it is hard to get the entire effect of tree and ground.

Here is the full picture of the leaves above:

So far we haven't had enough cold weather to get good color on the leaves this fall. Limits the photo opportunities!

Our trees up here are not as colorful as they were in previous years. Like Leslie said I think we need some cooler weather with frost & cool nights to help bring out the color. With that said her leaves are still a gorgeous color. They make an outstanding banner! Thumbs up

Thanks, Leslie. That pic is great and a treat for someone who lives where we almost have no color. We do have yellow of cottonwoods, but no red colors at all.

I have another maple and it always turns yellow like your cottonwoods. As it has great shape, I wish it would turn more orange and red. Guess I can't have everything!

I love fall. The colors, the weather, the feel of the wind. Love spring too, mostly because it is iris season (!), and also there are so many trees in bloom.
