Cross: Pardanthopsis dichotoma x Belamcanda chinensis

Currently accepted names: Iris dichotoma x Iris domestica

RHS DB: Manuscript Name (I don't know what a MN is): Iris x norrisii
ref. http://apps.rhs.org.uk/horticulturaldatabase/hortdatabase.as...
and http://apps.rhs.org.uk/horticulturaldatabase/summary2.asp?cr...

Kew says synonym. http://apps.kew.org/wcsp/namedetail.do?name_id=467411

SIGNA provides some explanation.
"A cross pioneered by Sam Norris of Owensboro, Kentucky, the Candy Lily is a hybrid of Iris dichotoma (syn. Pardanthopsis dichotoma) and Belamcanda chinensis." "Hybrid of Iris dichotoma and Iris domestica- see entry for Pardancanda for previous nomenclature." "Hybrid cross, not a natural species."
ref. http://www.signa.org/index.pl?Pardancanda-x-norrisii

Based on the above I propose changing the names of the Pardancanda to Iris x norrisii or x Iris norrisii, syn. X Pardancanda norrisii.

Thoughts?

I agree

There are nine of them total so it should be quick and easy to change them. I'll give you the honors. Smiling
