That's why even though I bought a couple more lots a few years ago (3, 4 at the most years without going to look) . . . I thought, 'this is silly', here in 5 years I will be retirement age (based on current standards). I work 10-12 days (one day rest though) . . . I can't keep this up, so currently the lots are being sold. I heard someone else here post that good help is hard to find, and it sure seems the truth to me. - - - - - . . . . . I didn't mean that to be a rant.

Now that is a word of encouragement !! I only have about an acre.

I hired two kids, son's of some friends, to help me a few days last summer. One is 15 and the other is 11. Boy did they ever work! I was very impressed with their work ethic, and ability to do what I asked. It was a big help.

Wish I could find anyone who wants to do garden work around here. Most youngsters work with a family member over summer and older ppl have gardens of their own. I did see a flyer with a contact name and number. I called and was told they moved to Hot Springs for steady garden work.
