This is my rookie year, and since I raised this question, Libby suggested that I write a little something up, to clear up the verbiage of 'start time', for others who may wonder, as well. I did ask Libby to look it over, before starting this thread, and it has been approved. Thumbs up

The term "start time" is used to reference two things, in regards to the seed swap, 1.) The time when the actual swap commences, on the first day, and, 2.) The time when the swap system distributes a new set of tickets to all of the swap participants, each day, until the date the swap concludes, which either replenishes or adds to one's ticket quantity.

Once the swap begins, on day one, it does not shut down or turn off, until the final day. In other words, there is no daily "ending time", even though there's a daily "start time". The seed swap remains active, 24 hours a day, until the date the swap concludes, and the treasure chest icon will always remain on every available item offered, until those items are either claimed down to zero offers, or the swap concludes, whichever comes first. Even though one person may run out of tickets quickly, others may not because some may start claiming their dibs, say on day three, or they may not use all of their tickets up in one sitting, so their tickets will, therefore, accumulate in subsequent days, waiting to be used on any day, for the duration of the swap, at any time of the day.

In conclusion, swapping remains active for the entire day, every day, until the date the seed swap concludes, allowing any participant to place dibs at any time of the day or night, as long as they still have tickets. Smiling

Have fun everyone!! Smiling
