Thanks Paul for all your wonderful images that you keep delighting us with. And this is another - very simple, but very effective.

Do you mind my asking if you know the name of the bluish Hosta?
I'm trying to identify the first one that I bought in '83 or '84. Seems to me it had a species name.

I'll try to get some photos and put them in the Plant ID Forum.

Thanks everyone. I took the picture which I made the banner from in a friends garden a couple of years ago and couldn't ID them at the time. I'll look through some pictures and see if I can figure it out. It wasn't Halcyon was it?

Hi Paul, I don't think the bluish one is Halcyon. Its leaves are smaller and more compact, and the ribbing is not as strongly furrowed.
I'll include here, two photos of Halcyon.

I posted three photos of my NOID Hosta - see the Plant ID forum: Hosta ID - (see the new posting) and had a wonderful response from @crawgarden, suggesting mine could be Hyacinthina or Fortunei Hyacinthina. I'll have to do more checking.
Thanks for your interest, Paul, and your dedication to Hostas.
