Last year I bought about 30 hostas from each of these companies, Hosta direct has bigger plants and biger prices but worth it, every penny!

Country Boys has small 2 or 3 year plants for about the same price you would pay for liners! That is why I did not do much business with the coops. I was very happy with Country Boys for small plants that anyone can afford.

I also am addicted to Hosta LOL Hopefully they all will make the
winter. I have alot of babies in the garden and the #%$#^ voles keep getting them :(
I put down some repelant down in the gardens to keep them away.

Shannon, I love your one dog. The tri-color. I have a Austrian Sheppard with similar colors but with the blue eyes. Are those hard to keep with the long hair?

Shannon, I love country boys, I bought about thirty from them last year plus I got some liners from a coop. I was happier with the country boys hostas, at the end of the summer I was getting two year hostas for the same price as the liners. I am getting ready to put in another order for a few which I could not afford big but have been wanting for a while. One was Catheral Windows I had so many baby hostas last year I started a nursery , which is just a raised bed in almost full shade. I keep forgetting about them, they are getting bigger by the month and soon I will need to find a place for them.

Stush....Thanks my blue merle Liam has one blue eye and the other is 1/2 blue. In collies
only the blue merle color is allowed to have blue eyes, I had a red merle Aussie like yours
a friend has him on her farm now. He heards her cattle & bulls. Yea the brushing is fun.Its
worse now they are starting to blow their winter coats

My Mother was Maxine...we always bought her a Maxine Calendar, several Maxine cookie jars, and other Maxine items. My wife loved one month when Maxine said "Summer is just one long hot flash".

She is sooooo right, and I love Maxine also. I have collected a few emails over the years some are so hilarious!!

My sister sends me Maxine emails. Love them. I was told that the writer is a man. If so he's really in touch with his famine side, or the only man who knows a little about women.

I have another one with Maxine and she says 'I keep hitting escape but I'm still here'.
