I am thinking about sending them a few pictures, the very least they could do is replace Fire and Ice, I paid for a plant not a plug. The funny thing is ( I hate to say) But it just seems a little covenant, they offer a hard to find hosta knowing you will proably order other plants then cancel the plant and don't tell you till the box comes! M@TO was the whole purpose for the order! I just feel like they tricked me. The right thing to do would be to tell the customer ahead of time and let them decide if they want to cancel the shipment or order a replacement. To add to the elusion of deception they did not email me to say the box was on the way. The more I think about it the madder I get, especially when I think of all the money I spent there last year? Three separate orders totaling 220.46.

Just wanted to comment on Hostas Direct... I ordered from them once. A lot of plants...

I think they were delivered in June, being zone4
I would not say they were small plants, but 1 eye each.

but the next year, i was surprised at how they multiplied.

would i order from them again? I dont know. but at least I know that i will not be getting large plants.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with NH Hostas. I had a good experience with them last year and I'm keeping my fingers crossed based on your recent order. BTW, you can get Midnight at the Oasis from Naylor Creek. They introduced it.

Thanks a lot Steve, I do have a order in with Naylor Creek and I am excited about the Hosta's I am getting. I was so impressed with the selection of hard to find Hosta at what seems to be a regular price! I will add it to my next order, because there certainly will be another.

I received an order from ILoveHosta and am pleased. They were well packed and are nice plants. Pure Heart and Lakeside Paisley Print had 3 eyes and Mouse Trap had two. I ordered a second Lakeside Paisley Print for a friend. I will order from them again. They also sent a small package of fertilizer and one of Sluggo as a gift.

I am adding several Mouse Ears sports to my garden this year. I have several coming from Naylor Creek. I love them and they don't take up a lot of room.

I hear you Paul, that is one nice order! I have a order with them also, I'm getting 'Pandoras box and 'Remember Me', also getting some Heuchera and a coneflower. Hope my order looks that good, I'm sure it will.

Well the plants have perked up quite a bit and I am pleased. Still have not heard from NHH.

I bought some mature divisions from Hostas Direct last fall and they were nothing but roots. Got them on sale for 3.99 a piece and I am so happy with these Hostas, they are so big most have 5 or 6 eyes.

Well, seems that I ordered 'Eternal Flame' from two different companies and I could not help but notice quite a difference in size. The one on the left is from New Hampshire Hosta and sold for 9.95 and the one on right from Garden Shop Now for 8.75

I admit I have been to this website before and laughed. But I just never ordered from them, no real reason. I was browsing today and I saw he had moved his whole nursery from Maryland to Virginia, I got curious and took the tour, this guy is hilarious and then the story about 'Plantation Lily', a real tear jerker. I got curious again and looked them up on WD and they have no negative comments, might give them a try.

Also during the winter I was looking for a' White Christmas Hosta' and could only buy them at a whole sale website called Blooming Bulbs. com. Bought five for 17.99 and that's not too bad. I will trade them also.
