Room additions for succulents ... hmmmm ... works for me. Rolling on the floor laughing

Well, I had to get rid of ALL of them when I moved from CA so I know it can be done ... but maybe not twice! Confused

And then everyone keeps showing all these wonderful pictures. Grumbling
I garden for the pollinators.

I have a similar dilemma in trying to thin out my plumeria collection. Not doing too well on that front either. Glare

My problem is plants period. It's hard for me to say no to any plant that catches my eye, whether it is roses, succulents, trees. Yeah, I am at my limit on tree's. My property is not quite a 1/4 acre, and I have over 17 trees on my property...lol! Houseplants I have no problem with, I kill almost every single one of them eventually! Sad

I have never had much luck with plumeria. They never bloom for me. I got one from the last Coop, and am going to try one more time. If this one doesn't bloom, I give up on plumeria! I do have friends here that grow them, and I do everything they say, but...yeah, no, my luck with plumeria's has been horrible. I mean, they do well leaf wise...they grow, they look healthy....but nary a single bloom has ever sprouted from my plumeria's. I then get pissed and give them away at garden swaps.

Alan, I'd be interested to hear more on your experiences, and maybe you want to make a little post on the Plumeria forum to discuss this? You should be able to grow them well where you are!

lol! I can grow them well, they grow great, they just do not bloom. Perhaps because I'm to impatient with them?

Ah the ironies of gardening, plumies bloom for me without roots, but after a few leaf attempts makes a suicide Rolling on the floor laughing Thanks to Hetty's advice, am getting some improvement on the last 1/3 of a cutting..Listen to the plumie guru Alan Big Grin

It is always hard to ignore a plant that catches our attention..there will always be a space somewhere in our respective corners Smiling

We had a beautiful sun shiny day yesterday, in the mid 40's. Got all the lawns mowed. Hurray!
Today our highs will be in the upper 30's and rain is back. Possible snow flurries tonight and tomorrow. Sad

Lynn, your current weather sounds like ours. Rain, temps in the 30's and lots of wind. The good news is all this rain should help get rid of the remaining snow. Thumbs up

It rained overnight and is still drizzling right now, at least no strong winds this time. Though local news reports heavy snow & mixed rain up in the Sierras and 3 to 4 feet of snow. Good for the water reservoirs up there very much needed. Just to get this day over for the sun to dry up the succulents Big Grin

Just sad to hear about those that had tornado issues in the Midwest though. Sad

Wahoo Chris, how wonderful for you to have the snow washed away. : )

I just heard about the tornado issues here on ATP. Nothing on our news about it this morning. Sure hope everyone is okay.

We woke up to snow barely covering the ground this morning. Was pretty, but was gone by 9:00 a.m.

That's the best kind of snow IMO.

I had a great collection of the various jade/ crassulas before I left AZ - now I'm going back with one "normal" one left. That, and 3 Adeniums and the one hoya I didn't kill this past fall.

But all I can think of is the agaves I'm going to get... Green Grin!
In the end, only kindness matters.

Science is not the answer, it is the question.
