I immediately looked these charmers up but I can only find March-May bloom times including the other photos in the database here. Did they have some weather confusion and have they bloomed in previous Dec.? I'll be putting these on my list to purchase either way.

The date is incorrect. The upload put in the wrong date for some reason and I can not edit it! I also added a caption explaining the date but I guess the captions are not uploaded with the "season interest" submissions.

The correct date of my photo is February 19, 2014.

You will find more photos of these irises in this thread. They may be blooming a little earlier because they are growing in very little soil. Just a theory though...

Connie, you should be able to edit by enlarging the image in the entry, scrolling down and click the "" Edit this image's caption, details, etc." and hit Save.
