Vizier reminds me some of Lady Friend, which did well for me when I had it. Then I moved and that was that. Sad

Ditto only I am drooling over it.

I understand that Alabama is closing down due to the weather overnight. nodding

Seriously, I was in Montgomery and stopped for chili makings. I have never been in a grocery store when snow was predicted. One lady's basket was full of bottled water, probably 6 lines were open and I thought I was going to have to hip check 2 people to get to the hamburger. Hilarious!

Sitting at 15 degrees right now, probably going to drop another two or three degrees before sunrise. Fortunately, no precipitation to mess up the roads and make me worry about my sister driving to work. Of course, I do worry about the fact that she works in an unheated warehouse and is going to be really cold all day, but that's a different worry. And one to which I am entitled because, after all, I am a year and 26 days older than she is... Whistling Smiling

Not too many more weeks (before the end of February, anyway) and I should start seeing blooms! Noticed last week that, while I thought all my Hellebores died off, there is one in a memory bed that seems to have made a successful comeback. Has a goodly amount of foliage, at any rate. Now if it would just give me some flowerdy stuff, I'll be a happy-happy camper. Thumbs up

You'll have to show pics when you get blooms to keep us northerners happy nodding nodding

-6 here this morning. Sad

waiting for the last snow to melt, hopefully tomorrow so I can get into town and run errands. Won't see any real action in the garden here until the fist of April, minus forsythia and hellebores of course.

still sick believe it or not, went through a round of antibiotics that got rid of the ear infection, but then seemed to start all over, lost my voice yesterday and think I may have bronchitis now. My son is sick too, he has not been to his adult day care since before Christmas, minus 3 days-he too got better- went back for about 3 days and then got a fever and terrible coughing and still at home now. Poor little guy Sad He is just laying in his bed eating candy and watching cartoons Lovey dubby I am a terrible mother Hilarious!
Had our truck stolen yesterday out of our driveway while dh was warming it up for work, overnight low was like -15 here. Well, in our defense we live in the county, don't really have traffic/people out here much especially in the early mornings like that-was still dark out. Still seams surreal to me. We did get it back thankfully, a man called the city police to report that someone had parked a truck in front of his house and left it. Unfortunately, they did not return the keys and my husband had a key for my vehicle also on that ring. So now we have changed out locks on the house, shed, trailers, and still need to do my van and his truck. Plus personal items were stolen out of the truck worth about $900. Also stole the registration papers so I have to make a trip to the DMV at some point to replace those. I am just SO bummed right now. Ready for spring, and tired of being sick! Crying

Debra, bummer for people having to work outside when it is this cold, even unheated buildings it is so miserable. I don't know how people do it! I only go out in this if it is really really needed. Like if I'm out of onions Hilarious!

Thanks for the hugs, I needed those. My poodle has been keeping me pretty well supplied in sympathy and attention, so that is nice.

Debra, I hope sister stays warm in that warehouse!

You guys are all colder than I but we gets ours tonight with a low of 22 & some lovely wind chill making it feel like 17. EEK!

I wonder where @Kabby is? She lives on the west side of Montgomery & my best friend lives on the east side. I know they got a couple inches of snow which is highly unusual for there. Unreal to see the pictures.
