Ronnie glade you enjoyed Black House can not wait for the 3rd book, hopefully not that far away. The Outsider was one of the better books I have read in awhile.
I finished my reread of The Tommyknockers which many consider King's worse book including himself. I think the story is interesting but just to long. If it were 400 pages instead of over 550 it could have been a much better read.
Next starting one of the early books Salem's Lot.

I'm working my way through The Spellman Files . I think I'm on the 4th one. They're goofy and brainless but entertaining. It's about a dysfunctional family of private investigators.

I have been re-reading a 9 book series by a science fiction writer named Julian May that was written in the 1980's. Its a wonderful series, it addresses a number of very interesting themes based in mythology, extraterrestrials, ESP and higher mind powers, and the issue of time paradox (i.e. you can't change the future by changing the past because the present already is). This is a circular tale, in the style of Star Trek, which starts 6 million years ago in the Pliocene Epoch and ends around the year 2113 (which interestingly enough could be around the time this planet self destructs). The first 4 books are: The Many Colored Land; The Golden Torc; The Nonborn King; and The Adversary. The next 2 are The Surveillance and The Metaconcert. The last 3 are Jack the Bodiless; Diamond Mask; and Magnificat.

Sounds interesting, will have to try and remember to check them out after I finish my Stephen King re-read. Plus he has a new book coming out the end of the month.

Finished War of the Wolf by Bernard Cromwell, last entry of his Saxon Tales (11th). Saxons vs the Danes in tenth century England. Excellent historical fiction.
Started some science fictions since but none have really drawn me in...the search continues.

Listening to and loving Barbara Kingsolver's new book, "Unsheltered." I downloaded the audiobook to my iPhone from my local public library using the app "Libby." Here is a screenshot of Libby's description of the book:

I use the library all the time, but I haven't tried Libby. What format is used for the ebooks? Is the Kindle format available?

I know the library has the Kindle format in some uses (I usually use Overdrive) but I've tried some others that only used PDF or EPUB formats. I didn't know what Libby offered. I guess I'll have to check it out again. I don't like the PDF or EPUB formatting. I prefer Kindle.

When I look it up I get this page
https://meet.libbyapp.com/
It says the app is available from Apple app store, Google Play, or Microsoft. I tried Amazon apps but can't find one for Libby. The Google Play one only lists my phone as compatible, not any Kindle. So where do you get an app for Kindle books on Libby?

You would first download the Libby app and the Kindle app ( Kindle app only if you read on a device other than an actual Kindle device) from the appropriate app store for your device, which sounds like Google Play. Both apps are free.

After you have downloaded the Libby app, you must link it to a public library via your card number. Then you can download an ebook. Once you do that, the Libby app will ask you what format you prefer. Here is a good set of instructions from Libby:
